Lewis Hamilton has left a gift for his former colleagues in Mercedes after 12 years with the German manufacturer.
The 40 -year -old won six driver championships with Mercedes and helped one of the largest sport teams in his transformation.
He left for Ferrari at the end of the 2024 season after writing a contract of £ 50 million per year with the Italian builder.
Hamilton commissioned a special work of art for the 3,000 of his former colleagues. Organized the renowned Automobile artist Paul Oz to create a painting that represents his car in the 2019 Monaco Grand Prix.
Each personnel member received their own impression of the work of art, while the original oil painting hangs at the Brackley headquarters of the team.
“Now that it is public knowledge and the 3000 Mercedes GP employees have received their impressions of this, I can talk about it,” said Oz published in an Instagram post that has since been eliminated.
