Buccaneers offensive coordinator Liam Coen has reversed course after agreeing to stay in Tampa, as the coach is now in talks to become the Jaguars' head coach.
Coen, 39, was set to remain in Tampa Bay as the league's highest-paid coordinator after speaking with the franchise.
But according to ESPN's Adam SchefterCoen was in Jacksonville on Tuesday in discussions to become the Jags' next head coach, and had no contact with the Buccaneers.
Schefter added that the Bucs had made multiple attempts to contact Coen, but were unable to do so.
Coen, who also served as the Rams' offensive coordinator, was with the Bucs for just one season in the role.
Despite injuries to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, who only played seven games, the Bucs finished with the fourth-highest offense in the league under Coen's guidance.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield also finished with 4,500 career yards and 41 touchdowns.
