In the court ruling on Wednesday, the judges said that the Nores had no role at Liam to “consume alcohol” – and could not have stopped Payne's fall from the balcony.

But the judges decided that Liam, even if Nors had taken these extreme precautions, would have got the substances into their hands anyway, as is common with dependent.
The judges continued to say that they had not found any proof that Martin and Grassi acted in “thoughtless, ruthless or only negligent behavior” before Liam died.
