Fox Sports and LIV Golf have announced they have signed a multi-year television deal ahead of the new season.
Starting in February, all three days of LIV Golf tournaments will air on Fox, and more than half of the League's schedule will air on Fox or FS1.
“We are thrilled to partner with Fox Sports, one of the largest broadcast networks in the world,” said LIV Golf CEO.
'LIV Golf is getting bigger and bolder, and this relationship signals the next phase of growth as our League joins the company of the country's top sports leagues and conferences.
'I want to thank the team at Fox Sports who share our vision for the future of golf, a new model that is redefining the way the sport is experienced.
“LIV Golf is attracting a younger, more active and tech-savvy fan base, and as our players and teams prepare for LIV Golf's biggest season yet, this deal will take our broadcast to new heights.”
Fox and LIV Golf have announced that they have signed a multi-year television agreement.
It comes a day after Scott O'Neil was formally introduced as the new CEO of Saudi-funded LIV Golf.
O'Neil, who replaced Greg Norman, was CEO of Merlin Entertainments and was in charge of commercial operations for more than 140 of the company's attractions. He was previously CEO of Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, whose holdings include the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers and the NHL's New Jersey Devils.
LIV Golf caused a major disruption in the golf world when it was first launched, driving away top players from the PGA Tour with the promise of big profits and fracturing the sport.
LIV Golf begins its third season on February 6 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The first American event will be April 4-6 at Trump Doral, a week before the Masters.
PGA Tour Enterprises and PIF remain in talks for the Saudi sovereign wealth fund to become a minority investor, although it is unclear how that would affect the two leagues or any path toward bringing together golf's best players.
