Liverpool already has a 'ready replacement' for Trent Alexander-Arnold if he leaves the club this summer, Ally McCoist has insisted.
The defender of the Reds is out of the contract at the end of the season, and there have been strong links with him and Real Madrid after the whites rejected an offer in the January transfer window.
The victory was lost in the second stage of the Capabao Cup semifinal over the Tottenham on Thursday night through an injury, with Conor Bradley intervening to delegate, although it is expected to be sufficiently fit for the time when The Reds face Everton in the Premier League next week.
Bradley, 21, has played 47 times for Liverpool and has won applause several times, even when the Reds beat Real Madrid in the Champions League earlier this season.
He was also acclaimed for his performance against Tottenham in Anfield, playing a key role when his team annulled a 1-0 deficit to reserve his points in the final, which presented an assistance for Dominik Szoboszlai's strike.
And the reds should not look beyond the young man to replace Alexander -arnold in defense this summer if Liverpudlian will leave, according to McCoist.

“Liverpool does not want to lose any of its three great players in an ideal world,” he began. 'But a prepared replacement is looking at his face.
'He (Bradley) only improves every time I see it. And fans have taken it correctly.
Bradley joined Liverpool when he was a teenager at the academy, working to the first team through a loan spell with Bolton in League one.
Tenacity and defense have impressed fans and experts, and many are now coming to the idea that it is not necessary to spend a lot of money this summer to replace Alexander-Arnold if he leaves.
In Szoboszlai's goal assistance, McCoist added: 'Conor Bradley's career is nothing less than magnificent. He gives (Archie) gray all kinds of problems.
'The time of the pass and the race, everything is a clock. What a race, the first pass, the end is excellent. That is an absolutely beautiful goal. Conor Bradley Man, revere again.
Meanwhile, Jamie Redknapp, he added, echoing McCoist's words in Sky Sports: 'Anyone who understands football will understand Conor Bradley is a tremendous talent. If Trent leaves, they have a ready replacement.
'He is not afraid with the world at his feet. Young players who come through this club only have that little resentment and aggression over them.

The Liverpool legend and Sky Jamie Carragher expert was another who agreed that Bradley is ready to be a regular starter for Liverpool.
He has done only seven openings this season and 19 appearances in total, but, despite the fact that Alexander-Arnold's future was in the air, Carragher was the opinion that his former team has no need to panic.
“There is only one man connected to Liverpool who doesn't want Alexander-Arnold to stay and that is Bradley,” Carragher joked. 'Liverpool should not come out and spend a lot of money if it goes. If that is, if Bradley's performance level, there are not many better requirements in the Premier League.
'That boy has worked too well for someone else to enter and be ahead of him. It needs to be Liverpool's right if Trent advances.
