Liverpool are reportedly considering signing a Bayern Munich star as they look to strengthen their squad.
The Reds, who currently sit top of the Premier League table, have been relatively quiet in the transfer market in recent windows.
In the summer, the club's only addition was Juventus striker Federico Chiesa after they failed to pursue Real Sociedad midfielder MartÃn Zubimendi.
It has not affected Arne Slot's side so far this season, with the Reds six points ahead of Arsenal in the league, while they also lead the Champions League stage.
Ryan Gravenberch has become the deepest midfielder in the Dutch system, with the 22-year-old subsequently shining as one of the stars of Liverpool's campaign.
However, according to Image journalist Christian FalkThe Reds are considering bolstering their midfield options with the addition of Bayern star Joshua Kimmich.

Kimmich has made more than 400 appearances for Bayern since arriving from RB Leipzig in 2015.
Kimmich, 29, has been an integral member of the German giants' squad since joining the club from RB Leipzig in 2015, with the midfielder making 414 appearances.
The midfielder, who can also fill the right-back position, has also made 97 international appearances for Germany and was named captain after Euro 2024.
Kimmich is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning any Liverpool move would likely be a potential free transfer in the summer.
However, the report claims that Bayern are in talks with the 29-year-old over a new deal.
Kimmich has previously been linked with Liverpool, most notably in the summer of 2023 when the Reds underwent a midfield overhaul following the departures of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson.
The German would fit Slot's playing style if he made the move, with the Dutchman preferring to use a deep-lying playmaker in the number 6 role, rather than a traditional hard-attacking defensive midfielder.
Kimmich has played every minute of Bayern's campaign so far this season, and the midfielder has featured in all 24 inter-competition games for Vincent Kompany's side.
The German giants currently sit top of the Bundesliga, four points clear of reigning champions Bayer Leverkusen.
Kimmich, who has also earned 97 caps for Germany, has been linked with Liverpool in the past.
Liverpool hope to strengthen their option as they compete on all fronts in 2024-25.
It comes after Leverkusen won the title last year, ending Bayern's winning streak of 11 consecutive seasons between 2012 and 2023.
Meanwhile, Liverpool return to action on Wednesday when they face Tottenham in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final.
The Reds will then host Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup third round at Anfield on Saturday.
