Love Island USA star Hannah Smith was just hit with criminal charges for her recent arrest in Atlanta … after prosecutors claimed she threatened to kill a police officer.
Cobb County prosecutors reviewed Hannah's case and decided to formally charge her with two felonies: terroristic threats and intentionally obstructing a police officer … according to new legal documents obtained by TMZ.
As we previously reported, the reality TV star was there arrested at a concert in September in Atlanta when she was escorted from the venue for a disorderly conduct offense. She was released on bail after spending a night in jail.
Hannah's bail conditions include a ban on alcohol and marijuana use… and she must undergo random drug and alcohol testing.
In charging documents, prosecutors allege that Hannah intentionally obstructed a police officer Kayla Winkfield by lunging at her and attempting to punch and kick her.
Prosecutors also allege that Hannah threatened to kill Officer Winkfield during her arrest.

TMZ broke the story … a source close to the investigation claims Hannah dragged race into her alleged threats. yelling at the police officer … “Bitch. I can't wait to kill you, you stupid, ugly bitch, because you're fucking fat, and they love us skinny bitches, because you're fucking fat. **Black, and I hate black bitches, so I can’t wait to kill you and your sister, you stupid bitch.”
Hannah's lawyer, Mike Hawkinspreviously told TMZ … Hannah ordered a drink with friends at the bar at music venue The Roxy before a show and later stepped back from her drink to take a photo with fans.
Hawkins added: “Shortly afterwards she has no memory of the events that occurred during or after the concert. Hannah is deeply disturbed by these events. She regrets any actions she has taken that have offended anyone, including law enforcement.”
