Darts star Luke Littler achieved his goal of parading the Sid Waddell Trophy around Old Trafford on Sunday.

The 17-year-old Manchester United fan had spoken of his desire to show off the trophy in front of the club's fans.

United invited Littler to Old Trafford for their match against Brighton, and Littler came onto the pitch at half-time.

He received a warm welcome from the fans on the field.

Littler won the PDC World Championship title earlier this month by beating Michael van Gerwen in an entertaining match.

He managed to secure glory by being defeated by Luke Humphries in the 2024 final.
