Luke Littler's football coaching debut was a baptism of fire, since Darts's feeling assumed the challenge of helping the “worst” team from the United Kingdom.
The Nuke changed the Alexandra palace cauldron for the muddy grass of Tunley, Somerset, to visit the “best team” of Specsavers in the country.
Tunley Athletic lost the 26 games last season, with a goals from -137, and this campaign is not going much better.
At the beginning of the month it was revealed that Harry Redknapp has intervened to train the boys until the end of the season, as did Swansea Albion in 2024.
During his visit, Littler played Darts with the team, gave them advice on driving pressure, participated in some football exercises and observed the first half of a 4-1 defeat against Cheddar AFC.
The manager Duncan Fear even gave him a surprise defeat in the eight when he hit an 180 that the 18 -year -old could not match, although his class was shown throughout the day.

'I laughed with Tunley's boys. I have always been a football fan, so it was good to climb to the field to vary and talk to them about how I prepare and block the noise during a game, “said Littler.
Giving advice to the team, he said: 'I have treated him throughout this year, only pressure, some of the most important stages in darts. But for me, you just have to lower your head and work hard.
'As long as you enjoy it, you should not feel any nerve. Obviously, if you have 1-0 and it is the first to five or six (in darts), you always have to stay in the opponent and not give them any space to breathe. It is the same for you.
'I and my family, we just didn't expect to get the center of attention I did when I reached the final. But I'm getting used to things.
“When they try to put my back (those launch abuses), I will simply return it and do not like it!”
Littler says he was “well” in football and took the team through a series of exercises, including football darts, trying to hit a giant inflatable board with a ball.
It turns out that it may need a little more practice in that discipline, since he lost the gigantic board completely with his first two efforts, but hit a triple 19 in his final kick to obtain a score of 57.
Littler knew that he had a job in his hands to have an impact and unfortunately it was not for Tunley, since they played their next game against him.
