By flying between 30,000 and 42,000 feet in the sky it is not something new for anyone who has flown commercially.
But flying to heights between 10,000 and 18,000 feet on the floor with just an engine, fan and parachute to keep you, there is something that very few of us experience.
Walter Raleigh wrote that “the engine is the heart of an plane, but the pilot is his soul.” Sarah Spring could not agree with that feeling.
The 26 -year -old girl in southern Louisiana, USA, has always been fascinated by the freedom found in the heavens, with her father holding her own pilot license for more than 30 years. By the end of 2021, she herself addressed the heavens to how to fly alone.
For many interested in obtaining a pilot license, that means short national flights and/or some type of emergency service option.
For spring, however, it meant learning to fly to a paramotor in the state of its hometown and explore much of Louisiana from the sky to obtain a different perspective of their surroundings of most people around them.

Sarah Spring says you can't overcome the adrenaline she receives from taking her paramotor

It is known that the native of southern Louisiana reaches heights as extreme as 18,000 feet

Spring enjoys Paramotor's freedom and says it is the definitive form of car therapy
“When you are in heaven, there is an incredible feeling of freedom and perspective that is difficult to find anywhere else,” she says. 'It forces you to be present and concentrate at the time. And at that time, all the noise and stress of everyday life fades.
Being able to light the engine and escape the monotonous routines of everyday life is something that many of us would enjoy.
Spring reveals that Paramotoring has given its confidence within itself, and its skill set, in addition to allowing you to appreciate the world around it.
'For me, Paramotoring is more than a simple hobby; It is a way of restarting and connecting again with myself, '' she says. 'The challenges of flying, emotion and even the risks involved, all contribute to a deeper appreciation of life and a better understanding of my own mental resistance. It is a type of therapy itself.
“One of my sayings is:” Look for what turns on your soul. “When it comes to a mental illness, a great challenge is to feel that he is simply surviving, instead of living. Flying makes me feel really alive.
“So yes, Paramotoring has definitely played a beneficial role in my own mental health.”
While many take to heavens to return to earth at high speeds, looking for that adrenaline, which could not be further from the mind of spring.
Spring is simply happy to be alone, enjoying the serenity that you can find only with its paramotor and your thoughts.

The 26 -year -old has met many of her closest friends among the Paramotora community.
“Paramotorante is unique because it doesn't have to be focused on adrenaline,” she says. 'You can search that adrenaline from takeoff, landings, fly to proximity and practice maneuvers to progress your skill set, but you can also fly quietly to enjoy the beautiful landscape from a different altitude.
'Paramotoring also offers a variety of flying styles suitable for the pilot's desire, such as leisure, acro and cross country.
'In comparison when I started flying, I have traveled a long way in terms of being comfortable and confident.
'As a beginner, I was quite nervous to take off in front of people or fly near anyone. Now, I love making touches of winged with my friends, and I am sure of my skill set and the knowledge I have learned.
There is more to paramotorize than only an escape and a hobby for spring. While the attraction of establishing records and falling into the Paramotor legend is the main thing for some, this 26 -year -old only wants to continue improving as a pilot and doing more things by itself.
However, Spring admits that without the community he has found within the Paramotor, he can be more inclined to spend more time on the ground than in heaven.
To maintain contact with their aerial comrades, flies are a vital function within the community. Although flying is the spring form of bringing some fantasy to his own world, he also presented some of the closest people in his life.
“In the future, I would love to develop my skills more exploring more advanced techniques and challenging flight conditions,” he admits. 'I would like to try longer flights through the country, progress in proximity and fly precisely, and learn more advanced maneuvers.

The adventurer in the air Spring adheres to his favorite motto of 'looking for what turns on your soul'
'The longest flight that I have completed so far has been just over an hour and a half, so I definitely want to overcome that.
'While there is definitely a strong community interest in competitions and the establishment of records, I personally only enjoy the experience of flying. Compeir is not something that interests me at this time.
'Mainly flight in southern Louisiana, but I travel through the United States occasionally to explore new locations. We have events called Fly-Ins, where the pilots meet in a place during a weekend to fly together. I try to attend as many flyers as possible to connect with other pilots and experience different flight environments.
'You attend Fly-in for the camaraderie, and fly is the bonus. I have met some of my closest friends, now as the family, through this sport. Since it is a niche community, forming links with other pilots occur naturally.
'(Without them) I would still fly, but probably not so often. It is much more fun to fly with friends and pursue. When my friends fly, I am motivated to join them.
