A man calls his elderly father-in-law a hero for his brave efforts as they desperately escaped the Pacific Palisades wildfire…especially because Parkinson's makes it difficult for him to move.
Aaron Samson spoke about their terrible plight CBS Morning On Thursday, he revealed he knew they had to leave after seeing smoke and fire near his 83-year-old father-in-law's home. There was just one problem: they didn't have a car.

Aaron quickly ran down the street begging for help and luckily found a neighbor who agreed to pick them up. He grabbed his father-in-law's medication and they jumped in the car.
But they soon found themselves in a gridlock… and as a fire jumped dangerously close to another vehicle, police began yelling at everyone to get out of their cars and evacuate on foot.
That's when, in Aaron's clip, you can see his FIL rushing down the street, walker in hand, as best he could… all thanks to Aaron's constant encouragement by telling him they needed to get moving remain.

Aaron said he then placed him on the walker and began to walk him to safety. Fortunately, his FIL is now safe and living with his family near San Diego.
