Manchester United continues to reject Napoli's approaches for Alejandro Garnacho, but Chelsea have also made early impressions.
Chelsea have added Garnacho and Borussia Dortmund's Jamie Bynoe-Gittens to a list of possible signings for this month or the summer, while a move for Kobbie Mainoo remains a possibility, according to Mail Sport sources.
No progress is being made as United maintain that Garnacho is a valuable member of the team and is not actively looking to sell now.
As things stand, no potential suitors have met the Premier League giants' demands for the Argentina international, according to Mail Sport's sources.
However, Napoli are not believed to have officially abandoned a deal; It is believed that the player would be willing to make a move, with the cost of the deal being the obstacle.
While Antonio Conte's side, who saw Khvicha Kvaratskhelia join Paris Saint-Germain on Friday night, are interested in Garnacho, they have also been monitoring Karim Adeyemi at Borussia Dortmund and Lille's Edon Zhegrova.

Marcus Rashford had also floated, although Borussia Dortmund are believed to be the favorites to land the English striker.
It is believed that one of the concerns that appears to plague the United striker's suitors is the player's attitude and professionalism.
While most recognize there is plenty of potential in Garnacho, he has struggled to maintain a regular place in Ruben Amorim's starting team since being ruled out of the Manchester derby.
Mail Sport sources can confirm that several clubs interested in signing Garnacho are not entirely convinced they will get value for money if they pay the asking price of £65m.
Similarly, clubs are willing to see what United can receive for any deal involving Rashford before reassessing their approach.
United will likely need to sell before contemplating revenue in the current window, although depending on what they receive for Rashford, there may be some wiggle room in future deals for players like Garnacho.
