Paul Scholes described a 'criminal' of the Manchester United star after his failure to play through Rasmus Hojlund in the crash of the Red Devils' with the true society.
United was looking to boost his attempt to qualify for the next season's champions League, since the knockout stages of the Europa League began on Thursday when they faced the LaLiga team in the first leg of his last shock.
Ruben Amorim's side is among the favorites to win the competition, but he must change his season in some way if they are the life of the trophy towards the end of the campaign.
Fighting for the goals, the first half against society was difficult for the visiting team, although they had the chance of opening the score, perhaps none more than when Diogo Dalot found himself in the right space.
With the opportunity to cross, striker Hojlund approached the penalty area with speed and had lost his score. He asked for a cross, but Dalot decided to cut inside when a simple ball through the goal would probably have resulted in a touch.
The possibility was begging, and Hojlund ended up showing his frustrations with Dalot when the two endured a brief look of discomfort, and Scholes, speaking as an expert in TNT sports, did not put their words.
“It has been comfortable for United, an easy half of football,” Scholes said in the interval. 'They should be ahead, Dalot should have square him to Hojlund. They have dangerous players but they have not been a threat.
'The frustrating thing was that we saw them practice that. So that Dalot does not see it is a criminal. He has made a good career, you are a right to return, so that any right in world football does not see that he is a criminal.
Karen Carney, meanwhile, added: 'He has the right to feel frustrated. When Wing backs are found in positions like Dalot, it has to pass it, it is a touch. He does not and is a lost opportunity and has every right to excavate, he has had many criticisms.
Robbie Savage, meanwhile, called him “unacceptable” in the comments.
