Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has apparently deactivated his X account after facing criticism and being dumped by Ruben Amorim.
Garnacho, 20, was completely left out of the derby win against Manchester City last month, along with Marcus Rashford, and has been on the bench for the last four games.
sport mail exclusively revealed that he appeared to turn his back on Amorim and walk away while receiving instructions before playing Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League, just three days before the trip to the Etihad.
Garnacho's representatives denied he was being disrespectful and put the matter down to a misunderstanding, while United sources insisted there was no rift.
But the decision to exclude him has raised questions about his suitability in Amorim's 3-4-3 system and his cameos have not impressed fans.
He is in line to play against Liverpool at Anfield this afternoon, having returned to the fold and been substituted in recent matches, but appeared to have closed his official X account in the run-up to the clash.

A search of his official profile comes up blank and his profile photos do not appear.

In fact, a search of their profile now shows an empty page and text that says, “This account does not exist.” His profile photo is also empty.
The reason for Garnacho's decision is still unknown.
Garnacho got into trouble for his social media activity after liking two posts on X criticizing Erik ten Hag's handling of the player last April.
After being taken off at half-time during United's 2-2 draw at Bournemouth, Garnacho liked two posts on YouTuber Mark Goldbridge's site.
One read: 'Ten Hag subtly blaming Garnacho in the post-match press conference… not a good idea to throw a 19-year-old who has really lived up to your expectations this season under the bus. But it is evident that he is afraid of upsetting those who earn the most.
The other added that Garnacho “had a bad first half but take him out at half-time and keep him because the problem is a joke.”
Garnacho quickly disliked both messages and Ten Hag spoke to him, and United said the matter had been dealt with internally.
Meanwhile, the youngster has received a warning shot from Graeme Souness, who believes he will not reach his potential unless he changes his attitude.
He has been on the bench for the last three games and has put in poor performances.

'Last time I looked he was just a 20-year-old kid. The one who is only one step above, on a ladder of ten steps. Who are you?
“He acts 'wrong' on the football field and unless he changes, he has no chance of developing the obvious potential he has.”
