Man United winger Antony sought on loan by European giants after falling out of favor with Ruben Amorim, while AC Milan weigh a loan move for Marcus Rashford.


Manchester United winger Antony is wanted on loan from Olympiacos, Mail Sport understands.

The Brazilian has not started any league games for United this season, but Rubén Amorim has used him from the bench.

Erik ten Hag made Antony, his former Ajax position, one of his first signings in 2022 in an £85.5m mega move, but things did not go to plan.

Now, as Amorim continues to make his mark on the United team, clubs across Europe have taken notice of Antony's situation at Old Trafford.

The Greek team currently sit top of their domestic division, but would welcome the addition of the former Ajax player in January.

Recently, Antony's agent, Junior Pedroso, said GiveMeSport that your client is willing to go out on loan.

“Many clubs have approached us about Antony's transfer in January,” he said.

“These clubs wanted to understand Antony's situation, so I can confirm that there is concrete interest.

“I can say that Antony's future is closely linked to the interests of Manchester United. If the club believes that it would be a good idea to loan Antony in January so that he can have more minutes and regain his confidence, we will work together on that option.

“Otherwise, Antony is working hard to regain his place and show his best skills under new coach Ruben Amorim.”

Meanwhile, AC Milan are considering a loan deal for Marcus Rashford.

The striker, who fell out of favor with Ruben Amorim and missed the midweek defeat to Newcastle through illness, is ready for a new challenge and is available this month.

Ideally, United want to sell him for £40m and that figure, plus his salary of more than £325,000 a week, are the main obstacle.

United will consider loan offers with an obligation to buy and several clubs have expressed interest.

Rashford has rejected approaches from Saudi Arabia and wants to remain in Europe to advance his career in England.
