Real Betis are closing in on an agreement with Manchester United over a subsidized loan for Antony, Mail Sport can reveal.
The Brazilian has not started any league games for United this season, but Rubén Amorim has used him from the bench.
On Saturday there were progressive talks between United and Betis about the move around their financial structure.
The deal is expected to go through with United willing to cover some of Antony's hefty wages, which amount to a whopping £200,000 a week.
The loan will have a duration until June 2025 without a purchase option included.
Earlier this month, Olympiacos expressed interest in a loan deal for the embattled winger, but he did not want to play for the Greek team, Mail Sport understands.

The Brazilian has not started with Rubén Amorim and has not scored in the League this season
He last played a full 90 minutes on September 17 during an EFL Cup clash against Barnsley.
However, in December, Antony's agent, Junior Pedroso, told GiveMeSport that his client is willing to go out on loan.
“Many clubs have approached us about the transfer of Antony in January,” he said.
“These clubs wanted to understand Antony's situation, so I can confirm that there is concrete interest.
“I can say that Antony's future is closely linked to the interests of Manchester United. If the club believes that it would be a good idea to loan Antony in January so that he can have more minutes and regain his confidence, we will work together on that option.
“Otherwise, Antony is working hard to regain his place and show his best skills under new coach Ruben Amorim.”
Erik ten Hag made Antony, his former Ajax position, one of his first signings in 2022 in an £86million mega move, but things did not go to plan.
In seven Premier League appearances this season, he has logged just 129 minutes and has scored once in all competitions – a penalty in an EFL Cup match against Barnsley.
He hasn't scored in the league since April 2024 and has put up unimpressive numbers at United.
Erik ten Hag signed Antony for £86 million in 2022, making him United's second most expensive signing in the club's history, behind Paul Pogba, who was signed for £89 million in 2016.
The 24-year-old is set to leave the Red Devils on loan, his agent revealed in December
In 95 games, he has managed just 12 goals, meaning United have so far paid just over £7m for every goal Antony has scored since his arrival.
He has racked up over £25m in wages since August 2022, meaning that on average he has earned over £2m every time he has worked for the Red Devils.
