Manchester City has made the decision to say goodbye to manager Gareth Taylor a few days after the Women's Cup final.
The club announced that they have “separated” with the 52 -year -old on Monday night.
Nick Cushing will return to the club interim for the rest of the season.
The news is a bit surprising with the city one of the two WSL teams that compete in the four competitions.
Citizens feel room on the table, just one point outside the places in the Champions League.
They have also progressed to the quarterfinals in Europe while reaching the semifinal of the FA Cup.

Taylor was the oldest WSL service manager before this announcement, since he was named in May 2020.
A state statement said: 'Manchester City women have separated from chief coach Gareth Taylor.
'Taylor has a long -standing association with Manchester City, having been a former player and having assumed several roles within the children's academy before joining MCWFC in 2020.
'He led our female team to the success of the FA Cup and the League Cup in 2020 and 2022 respectively, before losing the WSL title last season only with the goal difference.
Speaking of Taylor's departure, the managing director Charlotte O'Neill said: 'Manchester City is proud to compete at the top of the WSL and in her excellent qualification history for European competition.
'Unfortunately, the results this season so far have not reached this high level.

'With six WSL campaign games, we believe that a management change will give a new life to our commitment to guarantee the qualification for the UEFA 2025/26 Women's Champions League.
'We would like to register our thanks to Gareth for all his efforts during his many years in City.
