Now, Mail Sport understands there are talks underway for Littler to be a United guest at an upcoming home match to showcase their Sid Wadell Trophy.
The exact fixture for Littler's visit is yet to be determined – United's Premier League clash against Southampton on January 16 will clash with the Bahrain Masters for Littler.
United host Brighton three days later on January 19, and that represents the most likely opportunity, as the only other home game in January will be a Europa League clash against Rangers on January 23, but as the Dutch Masters starts the next day, not ideal for the Darts Phenomenon.
