'An autistic child does not understand things like his brothers, you must learn to understand it.

'It affects him a lot, you don't see it well and you don't know how to help him. He didn't go well at regular school, he got angry, he wasn't happy. He did not adapt, he was crying all the time.

'It would spend two or three hours and he didn't like it, we had to go looking for him. That also affects you a lot, you don't see your child well and you don't know how to help him.

Cucurella and Rodríguez discovered that Mateo was autistic shortly after the left back joined Chelsea for £ 65 million in the summer of 2022.
