Marcus Rashford has been acclaimed as Aston Villa's new 'hero' after leaving the bank to establish his two goals in his 2-1 victory over Chelsea.
Super Sub rashford was brought with a villa behind half a time and twice established Marco Asensio, even for his dramatic winner of 89 minutes.
The striker, signed in Manchester United loan in January after a fall with Ruben Amorim, has enjoyed a striking start in life in Midlands and Jamie Redknapp believes that its impact on Saturday will have impressed the followers.
“I have to be honest, I'm sure the manager was contemplating who was going to take off,” said Redknapp on Sky Sports. 'Asensio could have deactivated, thank God from his perspective he kept him.
'That substitution made all the difference. It was fantastic.
