Mark Andrews' girlfriend was forced to make a decision on social media amid brutal abuse against the Ravens star after his fall

The social media abuse against Mark Andrews' girlfriend, Elena Yates, got so bad after the Baltimore Ravens' divisional playoff loss that she had to disallow any comments on her Instagram page.

The Ravens star was the focal point of much of the criticism surrounding the loss to the Bills on Sunday night.

The tight end dropped a critical pass in the first half in a close game and lost a fumble in the fourth quarter.

Then came what could be the season-defining play for Baltimore, where Andrews missed what would have been a game-tying two-point conversion with less than two minutes left in the game.

Yates and Andrews have been dating since the summer of 2023 and she refers to Andrews as her “best friend” and a “wonderful person” on her social media.

The decision to ban comments on his Instagram was made shortly after the conclusion of the Ravens' season.

Yates' most recent social media posts are a branding deal with makeup company Clarins, as well as some photos from the Ravens' wild-card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Andrews and Yates also spent the Ravens' bye week on a romantic vacation in New York City, apparently staying at the famed Plaza Hotel last month.

The Bills are the ones who advance to the AFC Championship Game to face the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Ravens were in that situation a year ago, falling to Patrick Mahomes and his team two weeks before Kansas City repeated its title as Super Bowl champion.

Despite having one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, the Ravens' streak without appearing in the Super Bowl has continued for more than a dozen years.

And much of the current blame has fallen on Andrews and, by association, Yates.
