Now we enter the UFC Octagon… Mark Zuckerberg?!? Don't laugh – the meta-billionaire just revealed he still has intentions of taking on a professional MMA fight!!
Zuck reiterated his plan during his meeting Joe Roganis on the podcast this week… and damn, he hasn't given up on showing the world that he can kick some serious ass, dammit.
The Joe Rogan Experience
The Facebook founder — who's usually a jiu-jitsu guy — explained that he's warmed up to the idea of branching out into different fighting styles in MMA… especially given the strain on the joints that grappling places.
Essentially, Zuck wants to put his powerful face to good use (his words, not ours).
As we previously reported, 40-year-old Zuck tore a cruciate ligament during training for a setback in 2023… and required surgery to repair his knee.
Before that, he negotiated a superfight with him for months Elon Musk – with buddy and UFC boss Dana White at the center of the discussions – but the event never took place.
We've covered it extensively – Zuck is no ordinary nerd, having placed well in multiple tournaments… and trained with some of the best fighters in the world like Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski.
Zuck said it will probably be too difficult to put together a fight in 2025 since he's a bit busy with his day job at the moment… and it'll be difficult to find the right headspace to prepare for prepare an opponent.
But if he wants to make it a reality, all he has to do is contact Dana – we're sure he'll make room for him on a UFC card.
