In an interview with Australia “A current matter“The angry couple said that the deceased woman had been placed next to her with a blanket over her body-and she was not given the opportunity to change her seats for the rest of the long-haul flight.
Jennifer was encouraged to move from a colleague who offered a free seat next to her nearby … but Mitchell was not so lucky. He was asked to put a seat in an empty seat in his row so that the deceased woman could be placed in his assigned seat.
He noticed … “There were a few replacement seats that I could see around us. I can't believe that they told us that we should stay.”
His trauma deepened when the passengers were asked to stay sitting at the end of the flight, while the medical crews removed the unidentified body. Mitchell said that the staff did not try to keep the woman covered … her face to expose him.
Accordingly The International Air Transport Association (IATA)A deceased person should be placed in a seat “with a few other passengers nearby” and covered with a corpse bag or a blanket.
Mitchell and Jennifer are clearly shaken … but say that they try to enjoy their time in Italy as much as possible. They claim that they were not contacted by Qatar Airways, but have tried several times to speak to the airline.
TMZ turned to the airline by e -mail and phone. So far … no word back.
