Matthew Stafford's wife, Kelly, isn't sure if the quarterback will continue playing after her Rams fell to the Eagles on Sunday night in the divisional round.
The 36-year-old quarterback was noncommittal about his future after the 28-22 loss, and told reporters “would take some time to think about it.”
A day later, Kelly further fueled speculation that her husband might retire when she paid tribute to him on Instagram.
“There are not enough words to express how proud I am,” she said. saying. 'I joke about us being old and tired, but I honestly would never get tired of seeing you out there or seeing our girls cheering on their dad. I wonder if this is the end or not… I guess we'll find out.'
After the game, in which Stafford threw for 324 yards and two touchdowns, he was asked if he had any “good football left.”
“I'm sure you'd like it that way,” he said.

Kelly was at Stafford's side after he helped the Rams book their berth in Super Bowl LVI.
In the offseason, Stafford agreed to rework his deal with the Rams, waiving his guarantees for the 2025 season and essentially agreeing to a one-year, $40 million deal, as NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported at the time.
The Rams finished the regular season 10-7 after starting the season 1-4 and going without receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua for extended periods.
“I'm proud to be associated with this group… It was a great effort all year to get to this point,” Stafford said after the game.
“Any time you play like that… and come up short, it's even harder.”
