Galatasaray star Mauro Icardi has made his new girlfriend public on social media.
Icardi, 31, is currently in the middle of divorce proceedings with his ex-wife Wanda Nara.
The couple married in May 2014 and their relationship rarely made headlines as they endured multiple breakups.
However, in July, Nara, a model and television presenter who also acted as Icardi's agent, revealed that the couple had finally ended their tumultuous 10-year romance.
There have been several rumors about their respective love lives since then, but Icardi put an end to speculation on Thursday when he took to social media to announce his new relationship with María Eugenia Suárez, 32, an Argentine model and actress.
Sharing a post with several photos of the couple, Icardi added: “They say the best stories begin when you least expect them. It's destiny.

It comes amid Icardi's complicated divorce process with his ex-wife Wanda Nara.

Icardi's new love interest, who had been linked to a relationship with her divorce lawyer in November, likely never received a blessing from her ex-partner.
However, to add insult to injury, Suarez is an ex-love of Icardi and the pair reportedly had an affair in 2021, although the model insisted she did not know the footballer and Nara were still together.
“I did not initiate, encourage or cause this situation,” he wrote at the time in a series of Instagram stories.
'I always thought they were separated. The cost of the image of a happy family is mine alone, not the man who was irrational or made a mistake.'
That affair was one of several marital crises Nara and Icardi faced in their on-again, off-again relationship over the years.
Icardi announced the news by sharing several loving photos of the couple on Instagram.
Suárez is an Argentine model and influencer who previously had an affair with Icardi in 2021
Nara, who has two children with Icardi, is reportedly demanding €38m (£32.28m) from her ex in divorce proceedings.
Meanwhile, news of Icardi's relationship comes after sexually explicit text messages sent by the Galatasaray striker to Nara were revealed this week.
It emerged that Icardi sent messages to Nara begging her to take him back so they could “make love” that “will last forever.”
In texts used by Nara's lawyer as part of the couple's divorce proceedings, Icardi wrote, quoted by image: 'Do you think I want to fuck with another girl? You think I want to do something with another girl… I can't! I want to do it with you, (…), like I have been doing it for 10 years and I love it and I love it!!! Why do you keep saying nasty things about me?
'I want to feel that peace that I feel when you sit on me and we make love, I want to have that love that has filled me with so much pride for 10 years. Whatever you want…he is the love of my life!!!! And I want it to last forever. We'll find a solution to everything… but let me do it.'
He concluded: 'I know you're dying to fuck with me (…). Will you give us a chance? Will you leave me?
Icardi's X-rated messages appeared to fall on deaf ears, with Nara apparently insisting their relationship was over.
Nara got Icardi evicted from his home near Buenos Aires by police three days before he underwent knee surgery last month, in another unpleasant turn amid their messy divorce.
The model insisted that she did not know that Nara and Icardi were together at the time of their affair.
Nara had been dating Argentine rapper L-Gante (right) but confirmed that they have now broken up.
The agents woke up the Galatasaray forward in the early hours of the morning after Nara reported him for threatening her during an argument over her alleged refusal to move out of the property.
Local reports said Nara alleged that Icardi might have weapons inside the house in a gated community in Nordelta about 20 miles from Buenos Aires and prompted a police search of the house that found nothing.
He was later served with a restraining order telling him to stay away from his ex and her home.
At the time of the police intervention, Nara was dating Argentine singer Elián Valenzuela, better known by his stage name L-Gante, having first been seen kissing him in a music video in 2022, which left Icardi furious.
However, she announced on Sunday that they have now gone their separate ways, as she revealed that finalizing her divorce with Icardi influenced her decision.
Alongside a photo of her and L-Gante holding hands, Nara wrote on Instagram: 'Today our paths separate, to take care of ourselves and focus on our work and our family.
'My complex and painful legal situation made me make this decision, today my children need me and my time is totally dedicated to them.'
