The Dallas Mavericks have not finished.
After surprising the basketball world by exchanging Luka Doncic to Los Angeles in an agreement of three teams on Saturday night, the general manager of the Mavericks, Nico Harrison, agreed another agreement on Tuesday, sending Quentin Grimes and a selection second round to the philadelphia 76ers for veteran Caleb Caleb MartÃn.
The agreement is not yet official, but has been confirmed to Dailymail.com for someone with knowledge of the situation. Shams Charania de ESPN was the first to inform the agreement.
The 76ers and Mavericks are actually preparing to play Tuesday night.
Martin and Grimes were in their first seasons with new teams, and the first had rejected more money to return to Miami during the summer to be able to pursue a title with the 76ers with Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Paul George.
Martin has averaged 9.1 points and 4.4 rebounds in 31 games for Sixers this year, while providing a versatile defensive presence. Grimes also has a good reputation in defense and also provides a scoring coup after averaging 10.2 points in 47 games for MAVs in 2024-25.
