Megan Thee Stallion's emotional words in court hit the right note with a judge… who now orders Tory Lanez to immediately stop harassing Megan behind bars.
She testified via video in L.A. County Superior Court on Thursday, telling the judge: “I want my restraining order because I haven't had any peace since I got shot.”
TMZ broke the story, Megan I submitted an application for the order last month … and claimed Tory was waging “psychological war” against her by deploying an army of bloggers to publish slanderous remarks about her.
She even blamed Tory – who is serving ten years in state prison for it shoot at them – made payments to a certain blogger through his father.
According to Rolling Stone, Megan choked up during her testimony, saying she rarely leaves her house because she's “always a nervous wreck” … and has to endure people yelling “Free Tory” during her concerts.
Convinced that something had to be done, the judge granted her a five-year restraining order, meaning Tory must stay at least 100 meters away from Megan, her home, work and/or car. This part will be easy since it's locked up.
But it also prohibits him from harassing, intimidating, threatening or disturbing “the peace of (Megan).” Furthermore, Tory may not contact her directly or indirectly, by telephone or electronically.
His lawyers argued in court that the order would constitute a prior restriction on Tory free speech… but the judge apparently disagrees.
