Micah Parsons is convinced Joe Burrow is the best player in the NFL right now after the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback inspired an overtime victory over the Denver Broncos on Saturday night.
Burrow continued his stellar season after completing 39 of his 49 passes for 412 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime, to keep the Bengals' playoff hopes alive.
The 28-year-old has at least 250 passing yards and three touchdowns in eight consecutive games, extending his NFL record.
And even though Cincinnati (8-8) does not have a winning record, Parsons has made Burrow's case for the coveted Most Valuable Player award.
In fact, the Dallas Cowboys star believes whether he propels his team to the postseason shouldn't even be up for debate.

Burrow continued his stellar season after inspiring the Bengals' dramatic victory over the Broncos.
Parsons took to social media to call for the Cincinnati quarterback to win this season's MVP award.
Parsons' call for Burrow to be a serious MVP contender divided opinion on social media, with some dismissing his suggestion while pointing to what they believe are more credible options.
One user responded: 'shades***! Lamar (Jackson) is and it's not even a debate! Burrow is pitching among the top 2 10 WRs on rookie contracts!
Another said, “It's hysterical how excited people get after every good game by a quarterback.”
“It's been amazing but no, Josh (Allen) and then Lamar,” wrote a third.
While another simply said: “Micah, enough is enough bro.”
Others, however, are convinced Burrow is working miracles with a below-average Bengals team.
“Just finishing with a winning record should be enough,” one fan responded. “The Bengals are probably a 1-2 team without Burrow.”
Another commented: “He's playing incredible ball despite a horrendous offensive line.”
Earlier one went even further by saying, 'I don't even think there's anyone around.'
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor agreed with Parsons' sentiment after their win over the Broncos.
A more significant figure who agrees with Parsons' opinion is Bengals head coach Zac Taylor.
Taylor also announced Burrow as this season's MVP after his quarterback's latest impressive showing, emphasizing that he wouldn't trade him for “any player in the universe.”
“I don't know if anyone can stand on the field and look at Joe Burrow and say he's not the best player in the world,” he argued.
'And you can also transfer that argument to (Bengals wide receiver) Ja'Marr Chase. And you can argue with those two to the death. But the clearest thing I can say is that I wouldn't trade Joe Burrow for any player in the universe, and for me that's MVP.”
