Three-time world champion Michael van Gerwen scored a convincing 6-1 victory over England's Chris Dobey to reach the final of the World Darts Championship.
The Dutchman threw 11 darts in an electric start that allowed him to take the first set 3-1. He was then released in a tense second set in which Dobey missed three darts in double.
'Hollywood' got on the board with two big passes to take the third set, including a 170 finish.

Van Gerwen was three darts from nine darts in the next set, but turned to style to restore his two-set lead, before extending his lead in the fifth and making it six in a row.
'The Green Machine' once again demonstrated his impeccable timing by performing one of his best sets of the match with the sixth set tied 2-2.
He then finished the job in the seventh to secure a dominant 6-1 victory and reach a seventh world final.
