Middlesbrough is in conversations to sign Samuel Iling-Junior of Aston Villa.

The 21 -year -old wing must interrupt his loan in Bologna after his game on Saturday night and travel through a doctor.

Boro is also trying to defeat Celtic to the former Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho in a loan agreement in Seville.

Iheanacho had to join Venezia this week, but changed his mind, Leeds had also seen a possible loan.

Villa signed Iling-Junior of Juventus last summer before lending it to Bologna.

Iting-Junior has made only seven appearances for Bologna in the series to this season.
