An enraged Mikel Arteta said she was “furious” by the controversial Red Myles Lewis-Skell and confirmed that Arsenal will appeal the decision if the FA does not annul it automatically.
The referee Michael Oliver expelled Lewis-Skelly, 18, at the edge of break for a foul on Matt Doherty while the Wolves escaped from a play on the arsenal stopped.
This resulted in the visiting players surrounding Oliver with fury. There was an initial confusion about whether the red card was due to the fact that Lewis-Skelly denied a goal chance, although the incident took 90 meters from the goal.
But PGMol's Match Center account confirmed that the challenge had been considered “serious serious game”, which was verified by the varicing variety.
England was in the VAR for the controversial goal annulled to Luis Díaz against Tottenham in September 2023, where he failed to cancel an incorrect sanction of offside.
The expulsion was the fourth of Arsenal in the League this season. The Wolves also stayed with 10 men, in the 70th minute, after Joao Gomes received a red card per second yellow.

Technician Mikel Arteta was “furious” with the decision, although Arsenal won 1-0.
Arteta said: 'It is clear that I leave it to you. I am absolutely furious, but I leave it to you, because it is that obvious. I don't think my words will help.
“I wish we don't need (appealing the red card) and if necessary, happened and is a very good precedent what happened with Bruno (Fernandes) this season too. We are in a position where we should not be.”
Fernandes, from Manchester United, was expelled against Tottenham on September 29, 2024, but the FA annulled his red card after a successful appeal.
On the comeback of his team, Arteta added: “That is what they show us every day.
'This season is very special for many circumstances. With Mikel (Merino) and Martin (Odegaard) outside, we had to face a very difficult opponent who is fighting for the descent and we had another problem in the game. “
