Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland will miss the Old Firm clash against Celtic after being admitted to hospital on New Year's Eve.
The former England number one spent the night under medical supervision after suffering internal bleeding in his leg.
Now back home, the 31-year-old, who recently became a father again, has joined a growing list of absences for the visit of Celtic on Thursday.
A Rangers statement read: “Rangers can confirm that goalkeeper Jack Butland will miss tomorrow's Old Firm match against Celtic.
“The goalkeeper suffered internal bleeding in his leg which required hospital treatment, but has since been discharged and is recovering. Everyone at Rangers wishes Jack a speedy recovery.

Captain James Tavernier had already joined fellow defenders John Souttar and Neraysho Kasanwirjo on the bench, and veteran Nigerian international Leon Belogun is likely to make a quick return from injury.
Butland's absence will see Liam Kelly deputize in goal for the second time since his summer arrival from Motherwell.
