As a promotion for the next third season of his 'Golf Docuseries' swing, Netflix has shared a look at the infamous arrest of Scottie Scheffler in the PGA 2024 championship.
In the first hours of the morning outside the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, Scheffler was arrested for trying to access the course spinning for a police block.
Scheffler was handcuffed and accused of second degree assault of a police officer and three minor crimes.
While all charges have been withdrawn since then, it is still a moment that defined the PGA Tour calendar last year.
So, naturally, Netflix included it in its last season of the program, with Scheffler providing a testimony about the situation.
“First, I was driving myself crazy because I somehow went from leading to the golf course to a jail cell, and I still don't know how exactly happened,” Scheffler said in the documentary. He added: “I don't think he really felt real.”

Scheffler was arrested and accused of second grade assault from a police officer after he led around a police block to access the Valhalla Golf Club. The charges were removed later.
Scheffler returned to the course that day to shoot a 66. T-8 ended for the tournament.
The images of the body of the officer who led Scheffler to jail were also included in the documentary. I was quite clear that I had no idea who Scheffler was.
“Is there nothing to drink this morning?” Asked the officer to Scheffler.
The golfer replied that he had only had mouthwash, saying: “I try not to drink too much before going to play golf at 8:00 am.”
Later in the clip, the officer said: “I suppose you are quite good if you are playing in the PGA.”
A modest Scheffler, who held the number 1 position in the world at that time, said: 'I'm fine, yes'.
The officer asked if Tiger Woods is as good as everyone says, to which Scheffler replied: “It's quite good.”
Scheffler was released at 8:40 am that morning and returned to the course in time to shoot a 66 in the afternoon. The tied tournament ended in eighth.
In general, Scheffler had a remarkable 2024 season, with nine wins, including a second Masters victory, which promoted him to a Fedex Cup title.
