Robbie Fowler couldn't resist poking fun at Gabby Logan after the Amazon Prime host went viral for mixing Mo Salah's name with an Olympic legend on Tuesday night.
Logan, who this month was confirmed as one third of the new Match of the Day presenting team alongside Mark Chapman and Kelly Cates, made an unfortunate mistake during Amazon Prime's Champions League coverage.
Hosting a panel of experts including former Premier League stars Fowler, Luis Garcia and Daniel Sturridge, Logan led the broadcast from the pitch during Liverpool's clash against French club Lille.
Mohamed Salah put the Reds ahead with a well-taken goal in the first half, taking advantage of a magnificent pass from Curtis Jones, which led to the expert team's analysis at half-time.
Just before going to an ad break, Logan accidentally said, “Mo Farah smells blood.”
Farah, who unlike Salah is not part of Arne Slot's Champions League squad, is a 41-year-old retired long-distance runner who won four Olympic golds and six world titles during his successful career.

Fans were quick to point out Logan's unfortunate mistake on social media, as many found the funny side of the accidental crossover.
One fan, accompanying her X post with a laughing emoji, said: 'Did Gabby Logan just say Mo Farah smells blood?'
Another urged Salah to perform Farah's trademark 'Mobot' celebration after scoring his next goal for Liverpool.
“Liverpool, I didn't realize you had a new signing in Mo Farah. Hi Gabby Logan, Prime Video, but you do it easily while presenting live sports. Mo Salah, your next goal celebration should be the Mobot,” he posted the fan
A third said: “Gabby Logan in full Olympic mode calling Salah 'Mo Farah' there.”
Liverpool triumphed 2-1 over Lille in the second half thanks to Harvey Elliott's deflected long-range shot, putting the Reds within striking distance of topping the Champions League qualifying round.
After the match, Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler couldn't resist mocking Logan for his mistake, clearly in high spirits after his former club's victory.
“It was a night for a couple of firsts,” Fowler said, directing his comment toward Logan. 'The first Liverpool player to score 50 goals and the first Liverpool player to become Mo Farah. He must have walked 10,000 m without problems.

The Egyptian striker took his European tally to 50 goals for Liverpool, the most by any player in the club's history.
In response to Fowler's joke, Logan simply said: “This new Champions League format is a marathon, not a sprint.” We are not normally here in January.

After being confirmed as the new Match of the Day host earlier this month, Logan said: “There is a huge responsibility to ensure we continue to evolve while respecting the traditions of Match of the Day.”
