Newcastle United have an offer from Brazil for Miguel Almirón but the Paraguayan midfielder is waiting for more offers from Europe and the MLS.
Palmeiras, Santos and Sao Paulo are understood to be interested in the 30-year-old, while Olympiakos and MLS side Charlotte FC have inquired about Newcastle seeking around £5m.
Toon broke their transfer record by bringing the midfielder to the club for £20.5m from Atlanta United in January 2019, when Rafael Benitez was in charge.
The Paraguayan was even photographed reading the Daily Mail in the helicopter that took him to the Newcastle heliport before his presentation.
He has since made appearances in 2019 for the club, reaching the 2023 Carabao Cup final and helping them return to the Champions League for the 2023-24 season with 11 goals.
Having initially signed a five-and-a-half-year contract, he renewed his contract in 2023, but it expires at the end of next season.

He enjoyed reading the Daily Mail while flying to sign for the club in January 2019.
He has been reduced to a supporting role of late and has only started one league game this season, coming off the bench six times.
The Eddie Howe team is focusing on sales before they can window shop.
Kieran Trippier and Sean Longstaff could also leave.
