AND Maco died last night surrounded by his family at a Los Angeles hospital, TMZ Hip Hop has learned.
The “U Guessed It” rapper had been hospitalized since December 12 after suffering a gunshot wound to the head. Sources familiar with the situation tell us that Maco's coma took a turn and he fell into critical condition and could not be revived.
Since he was admitted earlier this month, doctors have struggled to perform a proper brain scan to flush out all the toxins from Maco's body.
We learned his family flew in from out of town and are devastated by the loss.
False reports of Maco's death flooded social media, but as we told you then, Maco was dead rushed to the hospital after police responded to a neighbor's 911 call and heard a gunshot nearby. A firearm was later recovered near Maco.
The Atlanta native established his rap legacy with his viral banger “U Guessed It” in 2014, solidifying the success factor for QC Records.
