Patrick Mahomes has hinted that he and Brittany could have more children after welcoming their third baby this week, but it won't be anytime soon.
The couple announced the arrival of their second daughter, Golden Raye, on Monday, and her arrival coincided perfectly with the Chiefs' bye week before the NFL playoffs.
Mahomes returned to work Tuesday for the Chiefs and faced the media before Saturday's matchup against the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium.
He was asked if he and his childhood sweetheart, Brittany, wanted to have more children and he didn't rule it out.
'My goal was always three. So we've had three,” Mahomes responded. 'We'll stay there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later.
'It's great to welcome another girl into our family and see how our children react to her. Having a sissy and stuff like that.

The couple, close friends of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, had their third baby this week.
Andy Reid has told his quarterback that having more children is an easy job after the third child.
But Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, a father of five, encouraged Mahomes to have more children.
Speaking to Mahomes on Tuesday, he said, “I think he does it very well.”
'Once you have three, four and five are easy. That's what I told him. You've made three, add a couple more and we'll talk.'
The arrival of Mahomes' third daughter this week means the Chiefs quarterback is avoiding difficult family life decisions that overlap with football and risk missing a game to be present for the birth.
This year has additional meaning for the Chiefs as Mahomes and his team seek a third straight Super Bowl title.
“I think every year is special,” Mahomes said. 'Obviously, you want to win three in a row and build those memories with the guys and the community. But every year is special.
“And when I look back at all the different Super Bowls that we've won, I look back at the special moments that we've had and the special games that we've had. And so we'll try to do the same thing this year.”
If the Chiefs beat the Texans, they will host the winner of the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens for a spot in the Super Bowl.
