- LISTEN NOW: It's all starting! Is Everton where they deserve to be or are the club's fans deceived?
Phil Foden hailed Manchester City's 6-0 win at Ipswich as their “best performance of the season”.
The 24-year-old scored a second consecutive double, with Mateo Kovacic, Jeremy Doku, Erling Haaland and James McAtee also scoring at Portman Road.
Victory over Kieran McKenna's side leaves City in fourth place after overtaking Newcastle on goal difference.
And Foden praised his team's performance on both sides of the pitch.
He told Sky Sports: “Probably the best (performance) this season, in terms of all-round play.” We maintained possession in important moments and defended well. One of our best performances this year.
'We are gaining momentum, keeping the players fit is important. I attribute it to people being in better shape and the team coming together better.

“When we score we don't rush. We are maintaining possession and today it was important to develop the game.”
After a difficult start to the season, Foden now has six goals in 17 leagues, four of them in his last two games.
The Ipswich double also took his career tally as a winger to 100 and he will be hoping to get more after his recovery.
“It's good to see myself back scoring goals with a smile on my face and enjoying football. I want to keep going and add more. You never know what can happen. The goal is to stay in the top four,” Foden added.
'I have had some goals and I want to continue adding. Everything seemed to change for me. I've had a bit of bad luck before and now I scored with some chances. If I can keep getting to the area, these players will keep finding me. I'm delighted.'
City will look to continue their momentum when they take on PSG in a crucial Champions League clash in the French capital on Tuesday night.
