Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has cleared concussion protocol and will start the team's wild card playoff game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday afternoon.
Hurts' health status was revealed by Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni on Friday, as he has been out of action since Philadelphia's Dec. 22 loss to the Washington Commanders.
During the first quarter of that bitter NFC East matchup, Hurts took a hard hit on the turf and had not appeared in a game since.
Kenny Pickett has been starting in place of Hurts, and the Eagles did not lose a game in which the former Pittsburgh quarterback played all four quarters.
The team certainly gets a boost with Hurts back with his dual-threat ability.
