The Pittsburgh Steelers have asked about a possible exchange for Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars Campo Marshal, in what would be a great success movement while the franchise seeks its new person he calls.
That is according to Ryan Burr of the Big 10 network, who states that he was informed about the move “of the horse's mouth in the Jags organization.”
At present, Steelers are in an uncertain position when it comes to a field marshal. Both Justin Fields and Russell Wilson played there last season, with Fields starting the role before Wilson replaced it after overcoming a calf problem.
But both men are now out of contract, which has apparently led Steelers to make a great call to an AFC rival.
The Jaguars took Lawrence with the first selection of 2021 after their university career with Clemsson Tigers.
According to Burr, the Steelers would consider giving their first and second round of this year's draft to the Jaguars, who are in a reconstruction phase under the new chief coen coach coen.
But the first round of next year will not be on the table, Burr suggested, because Pittsburgh is organizing the 2026 draft.
The Steelers arrived at the playoffs this season, but were defeated by the Baltimore Ravens.
