“Power Rangers” actor Hector David Jr. is behind bars after pleading guilty and being sentenced Wednesday for assaulting a man in Idaho last year.
Hector, who played the role of “Green Ranger” in the superhero franchise, pleaded guilty to assault in Canyon County court and was sentenced to 180 days in jail … according to new legal documents.
The judge suspended the sentence for 135 days, meaning he will only have to serve 45 days in prison but will have to keep his nose clean when he is released to avoid more time behind bars. The judge also sentenced Hector to two years of supervised probation and ordered him to complete 100 hours of community service.
As TMZ first reported in July … Hector got into an argument with an older man – who was using a walker – over a parking spot in Nampa, Idaho. The situation escalated as authorities said Hector pushed the man to the groundalthough he was not seriously injured.
Hector then jumped in his truck and drove away, but police later identified him with the community's help and a judge issued a warrant for his arrest. At the end of July, the public prosecutor finally brought charges against Hector for bodily harm.
