The professional women's hockey League looked more like the UFC on Thursday … When a fight broke out during the load of Ottawa and Boston Fleet – and the women were thrown down !!
It happened in the third period of the competition on the TD Place … to Boston's Jill Saulnier Beat Ottawa Tereza VanisovaAnd let her lose her stick.
When Vanisova got up, Saulnier pushed her on … and then hell broke.
Vanisova, a striker, had enough of the bullying … and started throwing hay manufacturers on Saulnier's face.
Saulnier quickly defended himself by throwing blows back – and the two went into it and ended up in the face in the face.
The women were finally separated, and both Vanisova and Saulnier, who landed with a bloody mouth – were sent to the penalty area.
This is considered the first real Fights in PWHL history since the league, in which six teams started in 2023.
Beyond the thrill of the fight, it was an exciting game … when Boston won 3-2 in extra time.
