Charlotte Giles, the dead Jockey's girlfriend Michael O'Sullivan, who died this year in a tragic accident, met with Queen Camilla at the Cheltenham Festival on day two of the event.

O'Sullivan, whose biggest day in the chair arrived in Cheltenham two years ago when he set up a double in Marine Nationale and Jazzy Matty, had been induced since he was transferred by plane to the hospital after the incident, which led to the abandonment of the rest of the Thurles card.

O'Sullivan was the first national jockey Irish hunting to lose his life in an incident in the course from Kieran Kelly, who died on August 12, 2003 after a fall in Kilbeggan four days before. As a brand of respect for O'Sullivan, Punctows canceled the card that were due to the stage on the day of his death.
In a statement, Jennifer Pugh, medical director of the Racing Board of Horse Irish, said: 'Michael died sadly in the early hours of Sunday morning surrounded by her beloved family at the Hospital of the University of Cork.
'We extend our thanks to the multidisciplinary teams that provided the best medical attention to Michael, both in the racecourse and at the Hospital of the University of Cork. Michael's family made the decision to donate their organs at this incredibly difficult time.
'But in doing so, he made a decision that will make a true difference in the lives of other patients and their families. I have had the privilege of meeting Michael through his amateur and professional career and his dedication, modesty and friendly nature, they always made a pleasure to be close.
'Michael's success and humility will have inspired many and share the feeling of loss today with all who knew him. Michael's family wishes to reiterate his gratitude for all the support they have received in recent days and express their thanks to the local community and the racing family. The O'Sullivan family has asked for privacy at this time.
O'Sullivan was a greatly respected young rider, with a dedicated commitment to his profession. He had become a frequent visitor on the slopes in England and set up the winners in Hereford and Bangor-on-Dee last November.
The queen, meanwhile, joined Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall when they arrived for 'Style Wednesday'.
