Revealed: Rules Chiefs fans sitting near Taylor Swift must follow when she cheers for Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift will return to Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs against the Houston Texans.

The Chiefs have to win or the season will be over for Kelce and his team. They are chasing what would be a historic third straight Super Bowl title, with the marquee game in New Orleans next month.

But Chiefs fans lucky enough to be sitting near the Kelce family suite from where Swift will watch the game must follow a strict set of rules that security helps enforce.

That's according to a Chiefs fan who was sitting just a few feet from Swift when she watched the Chiefs in December against the Texans in the regular season. She says she was told not to take pictures or ask for an autograph and that she had additional ticket screening when she arrived at her section of the stadium.

Explaining the experience on TiKTok, the fan named Carley said, “She's like a fan when she's there, which is cool.”

“She was talking about the referee, how he was in a previous game and talking to us outside the suite.

“It was great to have those human interactions with her as if she were another Chiefs fan.

“The windows in the suite were open throughout the game, closed during halftime, and closed almost immediately when the game ended.

'Taylor moved around the suite a lot, when the Chiefs were on defense she would go to the back of the suite and do whatever. When the Chiefs were on offense, she would return to the front row of chairs.

'There was security and they checked our tickets before entering section 119. They asked us not to ask for photographs because that would cause a swarm.

'Do not pass anything through the window, do not ask for autographs or reach into the suite.

'The security was there, it wasn't very strict or aggressive or anything like that. There were no bodyguards in the stands, I'm sure there was someone in the suite. It wasn't crazy.'

The game against the Texans on December 21 was the last time Swift attended a Chiefs game.

They finished the regular season with two road games against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos and had a bye week for the wild card round of the playoffs.

In a separate clip on her TikTok, Carley showed how close she was sitting to Swift, appearing to be in the row of seats directly in front of her suite.

If the Chiefs win on Saturday, Swift will likely return to Arrowhead the following weekend for Kelce and his team to face the winner of the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens.

The winner of that game reserves their spot in New Orleans for the Super Bowl on February 9.
