Jude Bellingham's rumored relationship with a Spanish pop star never took off, according to a new report.
Last week the news had circulated that the Real Madrid star could be in a relationship with the singer Aitana, according to Spanish journalist Laura Roige in Brand.
Aitana, 25, rose to fame in 2017 when she finished runner-up on the Spanish reality talent show Operación Triunfo. She then won Best Spanish Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2021.
According to Roige, Bellingham and Aitana began following each other on Instagram, and the Madrid native flooded her page with 'likes'.
Aitana returned the compliment after becoming very interested in Bellingham's activity on social networks.
She has also been spotted at the Santiago Bernabeu on multiple occasions to cheer on Bellingham and Co, leading to speculation that she was dating the attacking midfielder.

Reports circulated last week that Real Madrid star Bellingham, 21, had a new love interest.
Aitana had been seen at the Bernabéu and had been exchanging likes with Bellingham
However, according to a new report published in Brandthe relationship between Bellingham and Aitana never materialized.
Journalist Marisa Blázquez explained how both were talking and flirting on social networks, but things did not progress due to the footballer's 'fears'.
He claimed that Aitana had suggested meeting up to meet, but Bellingham was “very afraid” that they would be photographed together due to their respective high profiles.
Blázquez said: 'It seems that Aitana and him started flirting on Instagram and such and that Aitana, at one point, suggested 'hey, let's meet up'.
“But he was very afraid that, at a certain moment, since they are both very well known, they would photograph him.”
Bellingham's fears of being seen together even arose when Aitana suggested they meet at a restaurant for dinner, and after realizing nothing was going to progress, the pop star decided to leave them as friends.
“He was afraid of being caught because he cares a lot about his professional career,” Blázquez added.
'And (he) didn't want to be the focus because she is super known for her work, he didn't give rise to that meeting.
Aitana really wanted to meet Bellingham, but she was afraid of being seen together.
Aitana rose to fame in 2017 when she finished runner-up on a Spanish television reality talent show.
Bellingham was previously linked to Dutch model Laura Celia Valk, but she denied the rumours.
“Then she got bored and said 'well, look, boy,' and nothing ever materialized.”
Bellingham, 21, was rumored to be dating Dutch model Laura Celia Valk in recent months after she was described as “completely smitten” with the England international.
However, Valk confirmed last month that she was not dating Bellingham and is currently enjoying single life.
Meanwhile, Aitana was previously in a high-profile relationship with Colombian singer Sebastián Yatra.
The couple began their romance in August 2023, but separated a year later.
According to the newspaper ABC, Yatra ended their relationship last August, just a few days before going on vacation together.
The news about Bellingham's love life comes after the England star was part of the Real Madrid side that was thrashed 5-2 by arch-rivals Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final on Sunday night.
However, the midfielder continues to enjoy another impressive season in Spain, with Bellingham scoring nine goals and providing seven assists in 24 games.
