The former Darts World Champion, Ted Hankey, was released from prison in 2023, Mail Sport understands, despite having received a two -year sentence.
Hankey, now 56, was imprisoned for two years in May 2022 after declaring himself to sexually assaulting a teenager.
Chester Crown Court heard that Hankey had reduced the young woman and, with an “air of law,” sexually assaulted her victim.
The attack occurred in Crewe, Cheshire, on September 10, 2021, with the Court hearing that the victim was between 16 and 18 years old.
When they sentence Hankey, the judge said he would have “denied it until the end” if the attack had not been caught in the cinema.
Judge Everett said: 'You really thought no one would believe him, until he showed his condemnatory evidence.

When appearing in the Warrington Magistrates on Thursday, April 14, he declared himself guilty of sexual aggression.
Hankey received the order to sign the registry of sexual criminals for 10 years, in addition to receiving a two -year sentence.
Mail Sport understands that although Hankey was imprisoned in May 2022, they let him out in 2023.
It was reported that the Darts player, a father of three children, was in the process of being divorced by his wife at the time he was imprisoned.
