Peter ThomasIn his tax case, he's not just facing a prison sentence – a judge just set a set of conditions for his supervised release when he gets out of prison.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star will be required to participate in a drug testing program during his two years of supervised release once he completes his 18-month sentence.
He must abide by the terms of his supervised release… and it looks like his parole officer will be keeping an eye on him and may search him if they have reason to believe something is wrong.
That's not all – he was also ordered to stop excessive alcohol consumption and not to purchase, use or associate with narcotics or similar drugs.
As we mentioned earlier this month, Thomas was slapped one and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to evading his taxes. He will serve his sentence at a facility as close to Miami as possible.
In addition to his supervised release, Peter was also hit with a $2.5 million restitution bill to pay to the Internal Revenue Service.
It looks like Peter has learned his lesson – he posted a video on his IG before his sentencing urging business owners to learn from his mistakes.
