Alexander-Arnold's future at Liverpool remains shrouded in uncertainty, with the star in the final six months of his contract amid huge interest from Real Madrid.
The defender received a lot of criticism for his performance in Liverpool's draw against Manchester United last weekend, and there were some suggestions that he was distracted by the transfer speculation surrounding him.

Alexander-Arnold found the net with a magnificent shot and showed himself very well.
Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk will also see their current Liverpool contracts expire at the end of the season.

Fowler expressed his belief that while Salah and Van Dijk are likely to remain at Liverpool, the same may not apply to Alexander-Arnold, who could be looking for a new challenge at Real Madrid.
Speaking on ITV before the match, Fowler said: “From the club's point of view, letting these three players move on to the final six months, those are the questions people probably want to ask.”
'What will happen, will happen. My personal view and it's certainly not insider information, I just think two of them will stay and one of them will go and it's up to the people at home to come to their own conclusions on that.'
When pressed further on who he thinks will leave, Fowler stated that Alexander-Arnold could leave.
He said: “I think it's pretty obvious, I think obviously Mo is going to stay and I think Virgil is going to stay.”
“I love Trent as a player, I think he's probably one of the best in the world at what he does and of course I'd love for him to stay, but we'll see.”
After the match, Fowler said: “He's won everything, maybe he wants to try something else.” I want him to continue being a Liverpool player. He is a world class player. Who knows what will happen.'
Alexander-Arnold has spent his entire career so far at Liverpool, making 335 appearances for the club.
