Rory Mcilroy believes that Tiger Woods will try everything he can to return to play competitive golf after it was announced on Tuesday that the 15 -time main winner was ready to miss the teachers after rupting his Achilles.
“Apest,” Mcilroy said at TPC Sawgrass on Wednesday, when his reaction was asked for the devastating news about his good friend.
Woods had been preparing for his last return in Florida when it is understood that he had felt “acute pain” in the left heel.
The 49 -year -old man told fans on social networks that he had undergone surgery and was expected to recover completely.
“It doesn't have much luck when it comes to injuries and your body,” Mcilroy said.
'Obviously, he was trying to increase to prepare for surgeries of Augusta and Achilles are obviously not fun.
'(I hope it is in a good mood and I hope it is fine.

Mcilroy also revealed that Woods, after his injury surgery, could be out for the next 12 months
Mcilroy added: “Obviously we will not see him play golf this year and we hope to see him perhaps play in 2026”.
Woods, twice champion in the players, has not played at the level of the tour since last year's open championship in Royal Troon. Subsequently, Woods underwent surgery to remedy a back injury, after having had surgery in an ankle injury the previous year.
Last month, the five -time Masters winner retired from invitational genesis after the death of his mother, Kultida, on February 4.
During the last month some suggestions emerged that Woods could be ready to return in Sawgrass, but the 49 -year -old man was absent from the list of 144 players when he launched on Friday.
It has appeared in the TGL since then and it is understood that it has played in the competition Seminole pro-membro.
Mcilroy, meanwhile, supported his good friend to return from his last setback for injuries and compete again on the tour.
“He will try,” said Northern Irish when asked if he saw Woods return to competitive golf.
I know he will try. But that is a question for him, not for me. Obviously I don't know what is in your head.

Mcilroy said his good friend Woods 'was not very lucky' when it came to injuries and wished him a quick recovery
“But judging by the previous behavior, it will definitely try.”
Mcilroy had also spoken with Woods in recent months and revealed that the American had increased his training load in recent months.
“Well, he said he had only played one club three times or something, so he wouldn't say he would necessarily have been close,” said Mcilroy.
'But he was obviously trying to approach when he increased, training, practicing and doing what he was doing.
“Yes, I would say that I was trying to catch up with the lost time there.”
Mcilroy, meanwhile, has enjoyed a quick beginning of the PGA tour after concluding last year with his sixth race for the title of Dubai and followed him with a T4 that is placed in his first beginning of the year in the Dubai Desert Classic.
On the PGA tour, Mcilroy moved away from the persecution package to win the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am before placing T17 in invitational genesis. It would wrap the Arnold Palmer Invitational finish last week T15.

'Yes, it feels good. I would say that even the two finishes after people have been almost the worst they could be. I finished bad on Sunday at Bay Hill.
'I ended up on Sunday in Torrey Pines too. But all I would say is that from the change in my point from Torrey to Bay Hill it was great.
'I finished, I think, fifth to put last week, so see that the change was really encouraging. That is something for me to be really encouraged to enter this week, obviously, and then in the coming months.
The four -time major winner also took a moment to reflect on his past career and what the future holds.
At 35, he is one of the most successful sports stars in the world, considering the seriousness of his achievements. While still looking for that elusive green jacket, Mcilroy also talked about how his career would end up one day.
“I am very happy to put aside for the younger generation to arrive,” he said.
'I look at other sports, and I have had an incredible (trip). I became a professional in 2007. I am 18 years old in a career. Not many athletes can say that they have had an 18 -year -old career, and I'm only 35 years old.
'I can recognize how the lucky golfers are able to do what they do for so long compared to other athletes, so every time I feel that the moment is correct, I will not have problems going aside and letting the next generation do their thing.

'I think that when I achieved everything I want to achieve in the game and I got to the point where I don't think I can do it.
'I would also like to get a bit in the tank.
'I don't want to be there ashamed. I would like to get away a little before I should. Put it like that.
'There is always one more, but it's fine. I think if you can accept that and get away in your own terms, then that is something good.
