Rory Mcilroy stole a fan's phone in the players championship in a furious response to his heckling on Wednesday.
Mcilroy played a practice round in TPC Sawgrass in Florida, since he offers to win the 'fifth major' of the golf for the first time since 2019 this week.
But things did not start as planned for the Irish of the North, who sent his first water shooting.
That led a fan to shout 'just like 2011 in Augusta', mocking Mcilroy for his infamous collapse of teachers more than a decade ago.
Once Mcilroy had returned to Tee's box and hit his second ket, he walked to the fan with the club still in his hand and asked to see his phone.
Mcilroy took the phone from the fan's hand, looked at him and then went in his possession.

The fan seemed surprised and it is not clear what happened to the phone once the footage ends.
When Dailymail.com, the organizers of the tournament did not know, the incident occurred.
Mcilroy hopes to take the positive aspects of improved performance in the players championship, since he looks for a second victory in Sawgras.
He began his PGA Tour campaign with the victory at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but he could not set up a serious title challenge in each of his subsequent beginnings.
However, the four -time major winner was encouraged by his performance in the Greens at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week, where an experiment with new teams proved to be short -lived.
“He feels good,” Mcilroy said about his game during an interview prior to the tournament.
'I would say that even the two finishes after the Pebble have been almost the worst they could be. I finished bad on Sunday at Bay Hill. I also finished on Sunday in Torrey Pines.
'But all I would say is that the change in my posdo from Torrey to Bay Hill was great. I finished, I think, the fifth (actually seventh) by putting last week, so seeing that turn was really encouraging.
“That is something really encouraged to enter this week, obviously, and then in the coming months.”

Mcilroy changed some of his sponsor's new clubs during the first three rounds in Bay Hill, but fought to face the updated team and returned to his old configuration on Sunday.
“Some years vibrates with a new team a little easier,” Mcilroy explained.
'Like that Qi10 that I am using that they took last year, it was like love at first glance. I thought, this thing is amazing. I think that when you feel like this because of a golf club, it is very difficult to become something else.
'Flows and flows. Some years is easier than others. Look, everyone is business and everyone tries to make money and innovate and try to be better. So I understand why the cycle is as it is.
Mcilroy will be associated with Xander Schauffele and Scottie Scheffler in the first two rounds in Sawgrass, Scheffler became the first player in the 50 years of history of the tournament to win consecutive titles last year.
Scheffler loaded an eagle and six birdies in an impeccable closure 64 to cancel a five -shoot deficit and finish 20 under the pair, a shot ahead of Schauffele, Wyndham Clark and Brian Harman.
